Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center
The north end of Stony Creek Metropark, north of the north dam, is dedicated to nature trails. At the north end of the road, in the center of these trails, is the Stony Creek Nature Center. The nature center houses year-round exhibits, including live and taxidermy animals, and is staffed by naturalists who are available to answer questions about your explorations, or give you ideas for new directions those explorations can take you. To get your started, they also run interpretive programs and guided hikes. When you’re done at the nature center, be sure to explore the extensive trail network which surrounds it.
