Utilities

Utilities are quick apps written primarily for our staff, friends, etc, which we think may be useful to others, so we’ve chosen to share them.  We hope you find them useful.  If you do, please consider making a donation via the paypal link in the upper-right corner of this page.

  • Time to Move: Anyone (including our programming team) who spends too much time at the computer should download and use this app.  To reduce eye strain and sore back and neck, this app lets you select two time intervals and two vibrate patterns.  When the first one vibrates, by default every 20 minutes, you look away from the computer to something as far away as possible, just for a few seconds.  When you feel the second vibration pattern, every hour, by default, get up and move, whether stretching, walking down the hall, whatever, just move around a bit.  No guarantees, but hopefully it’ll make those long sessions at the computer less painful.
